ASHSEP is a platform,
A space for creation, for discovery, for choice.
At ASHSEP, the aim is to connect art, design, architecture, and everyday life.
About ASHSEP
ASHSEP is a platform at the intersection of art, design, and architecture.
It serves as a space for viewing, marketing, selling, and showcasing creative works, as well as a foundation for space design and environmental regeneration.
ASHSEP places “the aesthetics of living spaces” at the forefront, exploring its various dimensions and expressions. It utilized art to enhance lifestyle and, in this journey, focuses on contemporary Iranian artists. Ultimately, ASHSEP is a platform constituted to expand opportunities for collaboration and foster effective partnerships centered around “art, design, and architecture.”
It provides artists with the opportunity to exhibit their works, connect with the artistic community, and reach a broader audience. Furthermore, by offering a rich and growing collection of diverse artistic works, it serves as a specialized hub for art enthusiasts and the general public.
Origins
ASHSEP started with an idea:
To create a space where the boundaries between art, design, and architecture disappear.
In 2023, ASHSEP was founded by Ashkan Rastegar and Sepideh Sabbaghnia in the heart of one of Tehran’s storied neighborhoods, Amanieh, inside a villa with authentic 2nd Pahlavi-era architecture.
A house that itself was part of the narrative, with a living memory, familiar walls, and a vessel ready to be filled with fresh perspectives. From the very beginning, Ashsep was more than just an open space; it was a platform for dialogue, creation, observation, and collaboration among artists, designers, architects, and their audiences.
